You can't work legally in Vietnam without a work permit. While much of your application for the work permit and resident card goes on behind the scenes and is facilitated by the company, it's very important that you are completely aware of your responsibilities ahead of this happening. This will avoid any delays or difficulties in getting you set up to work comfortably in Vietnam with APAX as soon as possible. As such, please carefully read and digest the applicable process. If you are training in Hanoi and working in the north, please select north - for HCMC and the south, please select south.
Please note there have been recent governmental changes to the work permit process. Please read the steps carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
* *You must not be travelling from or via any of the following: China, Macau, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Iran*. If you have spent any time in any of these countries you may be quarantined for 14 days when entering Vietnam, or even possibly denied entry. APAX is not responsible for any governmental changes resulting in inconvenience or delay to the candidate, and the candidate decides to proceed with this option entirely of her/his own volition.
