When it comes to healthcare in Vietnam, there's a fairly wide spread of options. APAX does have a 50/50 contribution plan, but there are important considerations:
It is mandatory, provided by the Vietnamese government, and neither APAX nor the teacher has any control over payment for this
It is deducted from your salary automatically each month (as with taxes)
We strongly recommended not relying on this, instead choosing one of the private healthcare providers independently from the company
